“I Think He’s So Deluded”- Eddie Hearn Shuts Down Jake Paul’s Ambitions of Beating Canelo Alvarez in Two Years Time

A few days ago, Jake Paul and Eddie Hearn served as promoters for the biggest fight in women’s boxing between Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor. Though things remained largely cordial, with the duo even agreeing to a million-dollar bet, Hearn seemed to take a shot at ‘The Problem Child’ after the event.
In a recent interview with MMA Fighting, the Matchroom supremo said, “This is a guy who he, he would say to me off camera, ‘in two years I will beat Canelo’, and I’ll sort out looking for camera and realize there’s isn’t one and I think, Wow!”

“I think he’s so deluded. So deluded, but that delusion and that confidence will actually help him in the ring. Because he does go in there genuinely think he is a world-class fighter.”
Why is Jake Paul so confident?
The YouTuber, who made his debut in professional boxing in the year 2020, is unbeaten in five professional outings. In his short career, he has beaten the likes of Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren.
Well, this has raised his confidence in his abilities to beat the P4P king, Canelo Alvarez, in a brief span of two years. To beat the Mexican, he will have to continue improving his skills. Hence, he has his eyes set on other elite fighters to help him out here.
