Internet sensation, Jake Paul, has once again made an announcement that has set the internet ablaze. Though this time around, the 26-year-old does not have a fight announcement but something unexpected. Before turning into a professional boxer, Paul was an entertainer and garnered a prominent social media presence by being a content creator. And it appears that Paul now desires to dabble his hand in the art of acting as he gears up to make his Hollywood debut.

Recently, the YouTuber-turned-boxer announced his debut in a combat sports-orientated, feature film. It is reported that it would be produced by Mandalay Pictures and Wonder Street. Although not much about the film is disclosed, the announcement went viral which ignited differing opinions. However, the most heartwarming reaction was that of his mother.

Jake Paul’s mother is awestruck ahead of his Hollywood debut

Paul does not shy away from sharing glimpses of his personal life on social media. In a of recent Instagram Story, Paul shared screenshots of his chats with his mother, Pamela Ann Stepnick. During their conversation, Paul revealed that he would be making his childhood dream come true. He stated, “I’m gonna be the lead role in my own movie like I always wanted and dreamed of.” 

Like any proud mother, his mother was awestruck to hear this announcement and posed a certain set of questions to him. She responded, “Amazing!! Is it a story of your life? Who is producing the movie? I have so many questions. Congratulations”

It is safe to say that along with Paul, his mother is also excited about his Hollywood Debut. So much so, that his mother even demanded to star in the film. In another Instagram Story, Paul’s mother asked, “Who will play the role of your mom?” To which, Paul responded, “I think I could get you an audition.”

Paul has been in the limelight since he was 18 years old. From being a creator on Vine to becoming a breakout star in boxing, Paul has been successful in almost every vocation he has dabbled in. Reflecting on commencing his acting career, as per Variety, he stated, “As someone who has always believed in pushing boundaries and taking risks, I can’t wait to bring this unique story and my brand to the big screen.”
