The Australian boxer weighed in about her next opponent and said, “I think she’s mentally weak. To be fair, I think that’s why she is such a bully. I think she’s secretly insecure, but I feel like you know, insecurity is loud and confidence is quiet. I just feel like, you know, there’s those little things there. I think probably her underestimation of me thinking I’ve literally just got hit because I strip my clothes off.”

Furthermore, Bridges is herself an advocate of mental health, and has openly talked about it earlier. She also mentioned how O’Connell thinks that the former is just a model and doesn’t know how to fight. She also recalled O’Connell’s statement from last year, where she said that she wouldn’t even use Bridges for sparring.

Bridges concluded by saying, “So, we’ll see, I’d like to see what she has to say to everyone how she got beat by a laundry model.”

Is Shannon O’Connell ‘jealous’ of Ebanie Bridges ?

The two Australians will be fighting each other before the end of the year. Matchroom Boss Eddie Hearn will be staging the fight. O’Connell has way more experience than Bridges, which could become a problem for the latter. However, within a very short period, ‘The Blonde Bomber’ has earned a status for herself, and she certainly has an equal chance at beating her.

Bridges mentioned in an interview that her next opponent might be jealous of her. She said, “Of course she’s jealous. I mean, she’s jealous, and she’s bitter. And I mean, I don’t know. I got to say I can’t blame her. But, like I’ve been boxing for three years, like really as a pro. She’s been boxing for 13 and you know, she’s known now because of she’s my mandatory.”
