Influencer boxing is distinct from traditional boxing. Apart from fighting in the ring, influencer boxers have to find a way to entertain their fans before and after a bout. In a recent viral video on Twitter, an internet personality, justasisterfro2, who has over 4,000 followers on Twitter dabbled his hand in boxing but with his own twist. He decided to channel his inner Michael Jackson persona and started training while incorporating Michael Jackson’s famous dance moves.

Although Jackson was never caught on tape training, justasisterfro2 gives his best attempt to showcase what it would have looked like. He resembled Jackson in appearance by being dressed in all black except a white shirt and socks. He shows off his dancing moves while hitting the pads—showcasing his creativity and the ability to amuse fans who are quick to publicize their reactions.

Misfits boxing promotion was launched by KSI and usually has boxing cards for influencers. They patterned up with DAZN; a global streaming platform for sports content. On their Twitter page, @MF_DAZNXSeries ,they post anything related to influencers and boxers. Of late, they posted the viral video of justasisterfro2 portraying Michael Jackson while training. The Tweet stated, “If MJ was a boxer.”

A fan with the username B Plus is of the opinion that he should be fighting in the next DAZN card. He stated, “Get him on a future card I was gonna tag this as well”

While another fan with the username Amahdioha could not help himself but laugh while witnessing the video. He stated, “Why are people so stupid, I threw my breakfast down to have a good laugh at this I’m done”

Another fan, named Don Wilson, on similar lines, was amused by the video and made that evident when he stated, “Love it. And I miss him.”
