There is no certainty in the business of boxing when someone will become a good friend and when the long-time friendship will turn into the biggest rivalry. Similar things happened between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte. It is said that they were wonderful friends once in the initial years of their career.

However, as of now, the duo is in the mode of thrashing each other. The rivalry between the two former friends is going to trade some intense shots in the Wembley Arena in London on 23 April.
Prior to this historic British Blockbuster, the WBC and the ring heavyweight champion Tyson Fury went along with Dev Sahni on ‘The Unibet Lowdown’ to unveil some unexplored chapters of his relationship with the WBC mandatory challenger, Dillian Whyte.

‘The Gypsy King’ said, “I used to employ him. When he was out of boxing. When he was banned for the drugs he’d done, when I think he had like two or three years out of the game. And I used to keep him going with sparring partner money and stuff and look after him like egg and a cake.”

However, the WBC interim heavyweight champion, Dillian Whyte, has claimed several times that he had knocked out the 33-year-old technician in the days of their training camp.

Why Tyson Fury is disappointed with Dillian Whyte?
According to ‘The Body Snatcher’, ‘The Gypsy King’s real name is not Tyson, it is Luke. Just to brand himself with the name that can sell him more, in the sport of boxing, he replaced ‘Luke’ with ‘Tyson’.
However, the greatest technician did not agree with this fact and expressed his disappointment.

‘The Gypsy King’ said, “I’m not upset. I’m just disappointed because I did look after the guy, I told the best of my ability. I wasn’t no millionaire back then. But I was fighting regularly and whatever so, it was quite a shock and to see someone who you’ve looked after and took under your wing in their hard times call your names and say you’re a coward and all this.”

Further, Fury elaborated that he will see Whyte in the ring as he already knows the potential of the man. Moreover, he put the challenger on the radar to delay the contract.
