Anthony Joshua is just one step away from his dream fight against the Gypsy King. However, a major hurdle in the form of Kubrat Pulev stands in the way of denying AJ a dream unification bout.

Joshua is heading into the fight as the clear favorite. However, Pulev, who’s the lesser-known fighter amongst the two, is highly experienced.

Pulev is more than capable of causing a shock upset, and Joshua’s defeat may not be a far-fetched idea. He has tasted defeat in the past when he was beaten by the underdog Andy Ruiz Jr. The Mexican fighter was ruled out from the fight early on, however, he shocked the world by knocking out Anthony Joshua.

AJ made a swift and strong comeback. However, there’s always a chance it could happen again.

Anthony Joshua revealed he’s aware of everything that’s happening and has accepted the pressure of being one of the best boxers in the world.

AJ revealed he respects his opponent’s ability and praised him for being a family man. But, despite Pulev’s kind nature, Joshua is keen on decimating the Bulgarian in the ring.

“I have a lot of respect for the man, he’s a good family man and a good fighter, but on the other hand, I want to break his head,” said Joshua.

Joshua has agreed to a contract in principle to face Tyson Fury next year. The deal will compensate both fighters equally, with a rematch clause included as well.
