Oleksandr Usyk sent a strong message to Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury vowing to take their titles from them. The Ukrainian superstar has set his sight on the British duo but will have to face Dereck Chisora first.
Usyk became the undisputed cruiserweight defeating Krzysztof Glowacki back in 216 and has been undefeated ever since. However, Usyk will have to wait given that both Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury have mandatory fights. Joshua will face Kubrat Pulev next but given the current pandemic, there might be delays.
The prospect of Usyk fighting either of the British duo is amazing given his technical prowess. He would pose a serious threat t both fighters and given that he has experience in winning and retaining titles it will certainly be a big test for the British duo.

Speaking about a potential fight with Anthony Joshua and Fury , Oleksandr Usyk said
“I work hard on it and I want to fight both. The last thing I think about is who will fight who. No predictions. I need to stay active. I need to box. If your vocation is passive, it’s not good. If you stay active, it’s very good. This is my active vocation.”

Usyk has been active and dominant in his ‘’vocation’’ putting aside top fighters such as Tony Bellew and Chaz Witherspoon with ease. However, his fight against Dereck Chisora won’t be that easy. Chisora is a master technician in the ring and would certainly mount a great challenge to Usyk’s title defence.

Despite Olexandr’s rise to the top he will have to be weary of injuries if he wants to get a title shot. Usyk suffered a bicep injury before his debut against Witherspoon and is currently nursing an elbow problem. With the plethora of potential fights lined up for Usyk he is certainly in the waiting list for a title shot should things go to plan.
