Paul was supposed to fight Tyson Fury’s younger brother Tommy Fury on August 6th. Unfortunately, the latter pulled out of the fight stated he faced visa issues to enter the United States. Apparently, Paul doesn’t think that is what happened.
Paul stated, “I believe exactly what his(Tommy Fury) dad said. I believe that he was out of shape and his dad was like, ‘don’t take this fight right now.’ That’s what I truly believe happened and that he blamed the whole entire thing and not being able to get in because of visa which doesn’t make any sense. Because a month earlier he was in Los Angeles for vacation, there’s proof of that, there’s pictures on his Instagram.”
Notably, the British boxer’s father had earlier said in an interview that TNT was not fit enough to fight due to lack of practice. Unsurprisingly, even the ‘Problem Child’ believes that is what happened. Furthermore, the 25-year-old also mentioned that Fury just used the visa story to cover up.
Jake Paul reveals the reason why he wanted to fight Tommy Fury so bad
The rivalry between Paul and Fury has been going on for months now. Both of them have taken jabs at each other in several interviews and podcasts. Moreover, the two were scheduled to fight in December, but Fury pulled out of the fight because of an injury. Paul was quizzed on the MMAFightingonSBN show about why he is still entertaining it when the British fighter has canceled the fight twice.

To that, he replied, “For me, I want to knock him the f**k out and make him pay for all the sh*t that he’s done and he put me through, and all the money that’s been lost trying to put on these events with him. He has to own up to that, he has to pay for that.”
