Tyson Fury, the WBC heavyweight champion decided earlier this year that he is going to hang up his gloves. He kept his word and announced retirement after knocking out Dillian Whyte. However, he could not keep his promise for long and made a return to boxing.
In a recent interview with MMA Hour, he opened up about how Floyd Mayweather pushed him to get back into the ring and start fighting because it’s very hard to let something go that you have done your entire life.

According to ‘The Gypsy King’, four months after taking retirement, he realized that he was ‘pretty f**ked’. According to Fury, he tried to be a normal person but that added no spark to his life.
“I’m pretty F*ked up I think. I’m very worried about it because I can’t let it go like most of the great champions throughout history. Look at Floyd Mayweather, the guy is 45 years old f*king fighting against YouTubers and stuff right because you can’t let it go so it’s a very difficult thing to Let It Go”, Fury said.
‘The Gypsy King’ tried several things to keep himself distracted from boxing but he could not. For him, it felt like he was in a room where the oxygen supply was cut off.
“I was fighting for survival and I found my way back to the top and I was breathing air again so, for now, I’m just going to be very happy and comfortable doing what I do best”, Fury said.
