“You know I went through a turbulent time in my life when I wasn’t so motivated or I was motivated to do the wrong things but I put my energy in some positive affirmations, some positive things and even though it gets tough sometimes, it keeps me pushing down the rope because hard work does pay off,” said Joshua.

In the above video, ‘AJ’ admitted that the wrong side has tempted him in the past, but a positive energy inside him kept him on the right track. He knows the importance of sheer hard work, which is why he is one of the most hardworking fighters in the combat sports universe.

For now, Joshua is the unified heavyweight champion of the world. He has his eyes firmly set on walking down as the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world in 2021.
