Brittney Griner, a WNBA star, recently made headlines throughout the globe due to her incarceration in Russia for carrying hashish oil. After 10 months in negotiations, she eventually returned to the United States in a prisoner exchange. Millions of Americans were relieved when she returned home. Tristan Tate and his brother Andrew Tate frequently appear in the media as a result of their controversial remarks. As the entire world was talking about Brittney Griner, Tristan stated, “You have to understand that it is a unique form of arrogance to believe that every country has the exact same rules, moral standards as you do in your country.”
He further added, “You think oh, I play basketball and I love smoking weed, I’m just gonna bring dome weed to Russia you know. It’s just weed. Russians don’t see it that way, the Arabs do not see it that way. I would be perfectly happy if that woman stayed in jail for the rest of her natural life. Because it is none of America’s business how Russia conducts its criminal justice system.”
Tate never shies off from sharing his no-filter opinions on subjects. Not too long ago, he even slammed Hollywood superstar Will Smith for the controversial Oscars incident.
