“I Would Be Surprised” – Sparring Partner Believes Jake Paul vs Canelo Alvarez Has More Chances to Materialize Than Mike Tyson Fight

The talks of Jake Paul facing Mike Tyson in a fight created a lot of buzz amongst the fans. But a recent statement from Paul’s sparring partner suggested Paul’s mere probability of fighting Tyson and also gave subsequent reasons for it. Instead, he suggested a highly probable clash between Canelo Alvarez and Jake Paul in the future.

Anthony Taylor, MMA fighter turned boxer and training partner of Paul, mended some views about Paul’s probable fights in an interview with MyBettingSites

While talking about the probable clash between Paul and Alvarez, Taylor said, “Jake’s a bigger guy, taller, longer than Canelo, but we can’t disregard Canelo’s skill set. Now Jake is still learning in this game. But give him a few years.”

On the other hand, Taylor gave his view about why he thinks Tyson and Paul won’t fight. He said, “I really don’t see Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fighting just because they’re very good friends. They have too much mutual respect between them to be involved in having a fight.”

He added, “Maybe I’m missing something, maybe they are going to fight, but I just don’t really see Mike going in there any time soon with Jake, I would be surprised.

Iron’ Mike Tyson is an idol for Paul and both of them have shared some good times in the past. Therefore, they have mutual respect for them.
