

Rappers Ice Cube and Kanye ‘Ye’ West are two of the most iconic names in the world of hip-hop. However, things have not been all sunshine and rainbows between the duo recently. And, Ye dragging Cube’s name into his recent controversy surely had a major hand in this feud. In fact, Cube opened up to Mike Tyson about the same, on his podcast.

Cube, whose real name is O’Shea Jackson Sr, was recently a guest on the ‘Hotboxin with Mike Tyson’ podcast hosted by ‘The Baddest Man on The Planet‘ himself. Moreover, former Los Angeles Lakers small forward, Matt Barnes, was present as the co-host for the episode.
The trio was seen speaking about a series of diverse topics from the hip-hop industry to recent controversies.
Ice Cube tells Mike Tyson and Matt Barnes about Kanye West
The questions further transitioned into the recent controversy involving Ye. And Ice Cube surely had a few choice words to say about it. In conversation, Barnes mentioned, “You’ve been someone who has been a free thinker and free speaker your entire career. And that’s what to me, make you one of the greatest of late, you know.”
He further went on to ask Cube about Ye dragging his name into the controversy.

In response, Cube said, “You know when somebody turn it out. When a ni**a turned the party out. And say that he did it coz of you. You got to say something about that, you know what I’m saying. It’s like homie, nah, nah. You got to stand on this on your own. That’s you bro.”
Moreover, Cube also had a few choice words for Ye. He said, “I didn’t say nothing. It’s just that at the end of the day, I just had to let everybody know. That you know, don’t blame me. Talk your sh*t if you want to. But don’t blame me for sh*t. “
Notably, Ye had recently mentioned that Cube had been an inspiration for his controversial remarks.

Tyson gives an honest opinion about Ye
While Ye might have found himself in soup for his unhinged statements, including claims of him being a ‘god’. It seems like ‘Iron’ Mike understood where he was coming from. In fact, in an older episode of his podcast, Tyson delved into Ye’s claims.

Tyson mentioned that while Ye’s talks were corny and might sound insane. These were the qualities of a leader. Tyson also mentioned that Ye is delusional and has ‘mental issues’. But most leaders have similar issues.
