British heavyweight Dillian Whyte is one of the biggest names that has hit out at Daniel Dubois. The ‘Dynamite’ did not impress Whyte in his fight against Joe Joyce, and the ‘Body Snatcher’ suggested he would never do what Dubois did.

Joe Joyce stopped Daniel Dubois in the tenth round after taking him apart and causing his eye to swell.

Critics were quick to pick on the fact that Dubois quit the fight since he did not get up after he took the knee; while Dillian Whyte was at the fore-front, calling Dubois a quitter.

The Englishman shared a video on his Instagram that has since gone viral. In the video, he said, “I ain’t got nothing to say, man. Ain’t got nothing to say.

“That’s all. Man’s out here quitting. Sh*t. Man’s out here quitting mid-fight. Sh*t. Man’s out here quitting mid-fight.”

He also said he would never do that because he’s a warrior in the ring. He said, “[People] saying they want to fight me and they want to knock me out.

“One thing with me, no quitting. Straight warrior. If I’m losing, I’m getting knocked out. Straight warrior. Straight warrior,”  thus suggesting that he doesn’t rate Dubois’ mentality.

Is Dillian Whyte really as tough as he claims to be?

Though Whyte does not shy away from talking a lot, he has always backed it up. The Englishman has only 2 defeats on his record, Anthony Joshua and Alexander Povetkin; and both have been knockouts. And in both those knockouts, he had to be ‘put to sleep’ to be stopped.

So it is no secret that Whyte likes to dig in and fight until he can no longer throw a punch. This is what makes him a special fighter.

However, he clearly feels that Dubois is by no means on the same level as him and no one should be tipping them to get in the ring.

This was meant to be the 23-year-old’s first major test in the sport, and just like Whyte, he did a lot of talking before the fight. Unfortunately for him, he could not back it up and now has to face the music.
