‘If I Start Begging, I Might Become a Millionaire’- Mike Tyson to Francis Ngannou

Mike Tyson and Francis Ngannou have had troubled childhoods and saw extreme poverty before becoming successful combatants of their respective eras. That said, they can relate to several instances of both the good days and the dark ones.

They struggled their way to reach the top and in doing so, both located some unique features across the world. A year ago, the UFC Heavyweight contender connected with Tyson on his podcast and talked about those things.

Hailing from Nigeria, Francis Ngannou revealed how his visit to France was an eye-opener and introduced him to several unknown facts.

Moreover, Tyson said that the poorest parts of the US were better than Africa. So, Tyson claimed of having several bizarre thoughts about it in the past.

Speaking on it, the former heavyweight champion said, “When we look at those people, get them the f*** out, what are these people doing in.

“But then this is f**** heaven, people you can talk to, food outta here, man f*** that. I don’t even have to work, I am eating every day. Imagine if I start begging, I might become a millionaire.”

He added, “Man, you gotta sign out there and then you know somebody in a Rolls Royce would come and pick you up and by the end of the day and take you home.”

While Tyson has seen both rags and riches in his career, he has also overcome bankruptcy after being a global superstar. So Tyson seemingly understands the price of both gaining and losing.

Following bankruptcy in 2003, ‘Iron’ Mike is a rich superstar yet again. He took a few more fights after 2-3 and earned a healthy number. What’s more, Tyson is also relevant in the current boxing environment.

He has his own podcast that continues to bring celebrities and professional fighters on board. Apart from that, the heavyweight pugilist also has a cannabis ranch in California. So, it’s safe to say that Tyson has transitioned fine from his dark phase.
