After warning Marshall that there’s no backing out, she has now given her opinions on the Brit’s comments. Marshall is reported to have said that the only reason Shields has got the belts is because she did it before Marshall.

However, speaking on the ‘AK & Barak Show’ on SiriusXM,  Shields said, “She had the chance to fight against me for all the titles and her and her team turned it down.”

The undefeated American did not stop there. She said, “For her to say that she’s better than me and the only reason I’ve got these belts first is because of her…

“So, the reason that I got all these belts first, is because I didn’t fight her? Is that what she’s saying? She had the same opportunity.” Suggesting that Marshall has to give her more respect for her achievements.

The ‘GWOAT’ also spoke about winning the belts before the Brit and the real reason behind her getting it first. She said, “This isn’t just belts from weight class 160. We got belts from 168, we got belts from… all the belts from 160, and we got belts at 154.”

She then went on to say, “So for her to say, the only reason I got the belts is because I fought for them first is like… No, if you was good, you’d go and beat these girls. I had to do it.”
