Recently, Paul revealed more details about how he broke his hand. Paul mentioned that it was due to a freak accident when he was drunk. Paul was in a town in Germany and he came across an arcade punching bag and he wanted to try and break the ‘top score’.

However, he revealed that the bartender warned him about a concrete column that was positioned near the game. The bartender also warned him about people having previously broken their hands due to the column.

Paul however, did not heed the warning. He had a go at the punching bag twice, but he was not satisfied with the score. On his third try, Paul ran towards the arcade game and swung at it.

But, Paul’s hand made contact with the concrete column, breaking his hand in the process. It was later revealed that Paul broke his third metacarpal bone due to the impact. Paul also mentioned that, as a boxer, he was told that it was a career-ending injury.
