British heavyweight Daniel Dubois is unfazed by the prospect of being the favorite for the Joe Joyce fight. The undefeated fighter is the front-runner to win the heavily anticipated fight, and despite being 23-years-old, Dubois is keeping his cool.

Speaking to Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions on YouTube, the ‘Dynamite’ replied to the question of him being the favorite. He said, “I don’t know you know. Ask them. I think that you know, my record up until now suggests that I’m going to be unstoppable and I’m just rising up and up; and this is the next step for me.”

The young heavyweight added, “That’s how I look at it. I don’t know numbers or anything like that. I Just know what I can do.”
This shows Dubois’ maturity. It also puts the heavyweight division on notice. He has long been tipped for stardom and with such maturity, it is hard to see why he wouldn’t be able to rise. With this Joyce fight, Dubois is in the right direction and could be in with a shot at a world title.

How can Daniel Dubois take over the heavyweight division?
Dubois is very confident in his abilities and is open to any challenge. So how could he actually get the shot at the title? There have been rumors that the winner of this fight could face Oleksandr Usyk, since Anthony Joshua may have to vacate the WBO heavyweight title.

If Dubois can win this fight, he could potentially fight for that world title in the next 12 months. And with the maturity he seems to display right now, it will not a step too far for him.
