

WBC and WBA super lightweight champion Jessica McCaskill has fired shots at Cecilia Braekhus. The two were set to face each other on the 17th of April, however, the bout was called off due to the pandemic. Now that boxing is set to return a likely date for the bout is sometime in July. ‘CasKilla’ revealed she’s been preparing hard for the fight with her trainer Rick Ramos. Despite the cancellation being a major blow, Jessica said that she’s been training regularly and is ready to knock out her opponent.

Jessica has the chance to secure the IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC, WBO, and The Ring welterweight titles if she beats Braekhus. McCaskill was last seen in action against Erica Farias, winning via majority decision. Jessica’s fight against Braekhus will be her biggest test to date. Cecilia has an undefeated record of (36-0) and has reigned as the welterweight champion since 2014.
