Claressa Shields and Amanda Serrano had nothing but respect for one another in a recent conversation they had on Twitter. The duo lauded each other and talked about what inspired them about each other.
The first “Super World Champion” Amanda Serrano is known for her knockout power. Needless to say, there aren’t many women boxers known to finish their opponents. However, with 28 knockout wins in her 38 professional bouts, Serrano is an anomaly.

In all honesty, Shields feels that despite the size difference, Serrano’s power could prove too much for the former champion. Brækhus is coming off a decision loss to Jessica McCaskill that ended her 36-fight win streak. In the process, she also dropped the WBC, IBF, WBO, and IBO female welterweight championship.
Amanda Serrano and her fierce knockout power
It’s hard not to agree with pound-for-pound best Claressa Shields. The former two-time Olympic gold medallist urged Serrano to write a book about the mindset of being a KO artist and rightfully so.

She has stated in the past that she wants fans to recognize her as a female KO artist. Needless to say, she would be the first in the world of women’s boxing with this distinction.
A KO win against the longest-reigning welterweight champion and the first woman to hold the championship belt across the four major promotions in Brækhus will go a long way in helping Serrano achieve recognition as a KO artist.
