“I’mma Beat the Living Sh*t Out of You”: Caleb Plant Pulls No Punches in Verbal Assault on David Benavidez

Caleb Plant is eager to lock horns against David Benavidez in the ring on March 25th. The fight between the two is one of the most awaited super-middleweight fights of the year. Both fighters have their eyes on Canelo Alvarez’s undisputed title, but they will have to face each other before the winner of their fight meets Alvarez. Plant has only incurred one loss in his career. He lost a bout to Alvarez in 2021. A win against Benavidez will set him up to get his revenge on the ‘Cinnamon.’

David Benavidez is stepping in with a perfect boxing record of 26 wins against no losses (BoxRec). In a recent Instagram post, Caleb Plant released his speech for Benavidez ahead of their fight in March.

In his Instagram post, Plant clarified what he plans to do to Benavidez when he sees him in the ring. “Trust me when I say I’mma beat the living shit out of you, p**sy. I’mma beat the living shit out of you,” his speech read.

‘Sweethands’ did not hold back from giving Benavidez a headstart on what is coming after him in the ring on March 25th.“When you’re on the fuckin ground, bleeding from your fucking mouth, you’re gonna realize how to respect a real fuckin boxer,” wrote Plant.

Benavidez has not yet replied to Plant’s post, but the fans are eager to see what Benavidez has to say, keeping in mind his previous replies to the American. Both fighters are the top contenders in the division for Canelo Alvarez’s undisputed spot.

This bout could be Benavidez’s shot at redemption

David Benavidez held the WBC super middleweight title twice. But both times, he was forced to forfeit the titles. 2018 saw Benavidez lose his super middleweight title after testing positive for cocaine. After losing his title, Benavidez got another shot at it in a fight against Anthony Dirrell, and the ‘Red Flag’ reclaimed his title.

Two years later, bad luck struck again for Benavidez. He failed to make the weight cutoff for his bout with Roamer Alexis Angulo, and the WBC chose to strip him of his super-middleweight title. David Benavidez has been on the prowl ever since to reclaim the title.

Benavidez has long shown a desire to compete against the top fighters in the division and has not shied away from challenging them. He has the chance to confront Canelo Alvarez in the battle to become the undisputed super-middleweight champion of the world by winning his upcoming bout against Plant.
