Tyson Fury has been enjoying his time off following his win over Deontay Wilder. Fury underwent a very mentally and physically strenuous training camp for the Wilder fight. He contracted the coronavirus and went through some personal struggles that took him out of training for a few weeks.

While the training camp was full of ups and downs, the fight itself was a rollercoaster, with devastating punches and knockdowns coming from both sides. The WBC champion even fought through an injury for 11 grueling rounds to secure the win against ‘The Bronze Bomber’.

Fury brought this eventful year to an end with a well-earned family vacation in the United States. Following his UK tour, ‘The Gypsy King’ took his entire family out on a trip to New York and Florida. Fury first went to New York for a business trip, followed by a vacation to Florida.

Tyson Fury snubs BBC awards to vacation in the United States

The BBC had shortlisted Tyson Fury for the sports personality of the year award. However, ‘The Gypsy King’ was not happy with his nomination and had even threatened to sue the BBC for including his name in the 6 person shortlist.

So it is no surprise that Fury did not show up for the ceremony. Instead, during the ceremony, he posted photos from his business trip to New York. In classic Fury style, he showed winning awards is not why he boxes.
