Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather 

Billed as the ‘Fight of the Century’, the fight between the two legends took place in May 2015 at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The arena was jam-packed to see the bout. Two fighters of this magnitude certainly meant that there was a lot of money on the line. 

The fight is considered the most expensive fight in boxing history. “Pretty Boy” took home a massive $180 million, whereas “Pac-Man” earned around $120 million from the bout. A rematch between the two has already caused an uproar. Fans are going wild to see them square off in the ring again. 

Where is Manny Pacquiao now? 

The Philippine boxer is not only a great fighter, but he also has been dabbling in politics for a long time. He first ran for congress and lost in 2007. Furthermore, he scored landslide victories in the 1st district of South Cotabato in 2010 and 2013. By 2016, the boxing sensation became a senator.

In October 2021, he announced his candidacy for the 2022 Philippine presidential election. Moreover, he focused on fighting corruption, cracking down on drugs, and working for the betterment of the impoverished. Unfortunately, he lost the election.
