Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao, popularly known as Manny Pacquiao, is a phenomenal boxer who once swept the boxing world. He is the only boxer to have won world titles in eight different weight classes. The 43-year-old had announced his retirement in 2021. But there is a buzz around the town that he might return to fight his archrival. 

Sean Gibbons, head of MP Promotions, told ‘PLANETSPORT’, “Let’s go. [I] would love to see it, but Mayweather wants none of this smoke due to his ego. Senator Pacquiao would love an exhibition, if he was to return it would be this year – but that is a big ‘if’.”

This news has left the fans in excitement. Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr are two of the greatest names in the world of boxing. In October 2021, he announced his candidacy for the 2022 Philippine presidential election. Moreover, he focused on fighting corruption, cracking down on drugs, and working for the betterment of the impoverished. Unfortunately, he lost the election.
