Mayweather has shared close relationships with many rappers over the years, while also having a rivalry with famous rapper 50 Cent. However, one name that keeps coming up with Mayweather now is rapper NBA YoungBoy. So, is Mayweather related to the musician?

The reality is that the 50-0 boxer is not related to NBA YoungBoy. However, there is some association between the two. Kentrell Gaulden, who is most popularly known as NBA YoungBoy, was in a relationship with Mayweather’s daughter, Iyanna Mayweather.

The controversial rapper and Iyanna Mayweather dated in 2019, and the pair even had a baby boy in January 2021. However, things didn’t work out, and Gaulden split with Iyanna Mayweather on a sour note.

How did Floyd Mayweather react to NBA Youngboy dating his daughter?

Mayweather is not related to NBA Youngboy since Gaulden never married his daughter. However, it was not a secret that the pair were together. So how did the former world champion react to his daughter dating a controversial personality like NBA YoungBoy?

Mayweather spoke to ‘Hollywood Unlocked’ on YouTube a while back and gave his opinion. He confirmed the pair were dating and expecting a baby. However, he said he wished her well and hoped she was happy since she no longer stayed in his home.

However, given the controversy surrounding his daughter’s relationship, Mayweather could never fully escape it. It got to a point where Jake Paul was referencing their relationship in an attempt to troll Mayweather. Despite this, the legendary boxer did not react to those taunts.
