

Ever since his last win over Nate Robinson, Jake Paul has staggered combat sports. He called out some bigwigs of MMA, including stars like Conor McGregor, Ben Askren, and more. Furthermore, Paul even engaged in verbal wars with various pugilists on Twitter past a few months.
The ‘Problem Child’ has caught everyone’s attention with his antics, and for obvious reasons.
Recently, former boxer Ryan Rhodes and consultant of the much-awaited game, E-Sports Boxing Club, was in a chat with Fred Talks Fighting. Here, he was asked whether the Youtuber turned boxer, Jake Paul, is included in the game series. To which he responded:

“Is he a boxer? Is he a boxer or just a YouTuber?
“Oh, man, look at the following Jake Paul’s got on his YouTube channel and everything like that, massive, massive.”

Rhodes took a hilarious jibe at the ‘Problem Child’, who is substantially new to the sport. Despite that, he acknowledged Paul for his popularity on social media. Rhodes even asserted that Paul might be not that big in the boxing world, but he definitely has his own mark in the world of YouTubers.
Paul has accrued mammoth attention over a few months. He’s even preparing to confront one opponent on his checklist, Ben Askren, on April 17.
Until now, Paul has only fought non-fighters, but this time he’ll touch gloves with an experienced veteran from the MMA world.

Can Jake Paul upset Ben Askren?
Past a few months, the ‘Problem Child’ has immersed himself in rigorous workout sessions to present his best self against Ben Askren. He only has two fights/wins on his pro-boxing resume and moving into a fight with ‘Funky’, he will look to make it his third.

This fight will play a pivotal role in shaping up Paul’s unusual boxing career.


That said, it’ll be interesting to see how the Ohio native fares in the toughest test of his life.

If Paul scores a win in this fight somehow, needless to say, he’ll open himself up for even bigger fights/opponents in the future.
