Well, ‘The Problem Child’ is getting a bit old! So, the people of Puerto Rico seem to have given Jake Paul a brand-spanking new nickname. The update comes days before his upcoming clash in his home country. Jake Paul will take on the tenth opponent of his professional boxing career on March 2 at Coliseo Jose Miguel Agrelot arena.

Following a spectacular win over Andre August last year, Paul decided to go with another rather unknown opponent, Ryan Bourland. And just like most of his fights, he was criticized for the choice because people claimed Bourland was an aging, washed-up fighter who didn’t have a chance of winning.

In the promotional video shared on YouTube by Jake Paul for his upcoming fight, Paul claimed he is thankful to the people for giving him the nickname. “I’m also very thankful for the people of Puerto Rico who nicknamed me ‘El Gallo De Dorado,’” said Paul. However, it begs the question, what does Paul’s new nickname even mean?

Well, Paul answered that question as well. In the video, Paul stated, “[It] means the fighting rooster of Dorado.” Moreover, Paul seems to have taken a liking to it and suggested that he is honored to be the recipient of the nickname. “It is such an honor, and I don’t take it for granted one bit,” said Paul. However, this isn’t the only update about Paul that has caused a commotion on the internet.

Not long ago, Neeraj Goyat had made the headlines for being a potential opponent for Paul, but nothing came out of it. Since then, the duo have been going back and forth on social media. So, Goyat decided to give Paul a visit in Puerto Rico, claiming Paul had used a translation app to abuse him in his regional language.

“I’m here in your town. I’m here in your gym, man. Now abuse…You using translate application and you abusing in Indian language,” said Goyat. In response, Paul stated, “You came to see me. You don’t wanna fight though… Listen, brother, you can’t handle a little s**t talk. Your feelings are hurt? Did I hurt your feelings?… Listen, brother, f**k you three times, brother.”
