Multi-institutional champion Anthony Joshua spoke out via Sky Sports and shared his views on former WBC champion Deontay Wilder. ‘The Bronze Bomber’ has been in the headlines of late due to the comments he’s made about Tyson Fury.
Wilder and Fury fought in early 2020 wherein Tyson earned an emphatic TKO to more or less wrap up their rivalry. Deontay Wilder has recently come out accusing ‘The Gypsy King’ of foul play, and his comments have made heads turn.
Chiefly, he’s claimed that Tyson padded his gloves with egg weight and also went as far as to accuse his own trainer of poisoning his water. These accusations came months after he justified his loss by claiming that his walk-out costume was too heavy.

“How he feels today might change in a year or two years due to experiences or more understanding of the situation that he has gone through. He was knocking everybody out and got used to a winning performance.
“He took a loss and isn’t used to it. As time goes on, he may express himself differently. Today? In my humble opinion, it isn’t coming across in the right way.”

Anthony Joshua will have to divert his focus away from Deontay as he has his hands full. ‘AJ’ will face Kubrat Pulev on December 12, 2020, and Pulev is certainly a dangerous opponent.
