Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone has been a part of the Rocky franchise ever since its inception. The action star has played a role in all of its movies including the first two installments of Creed, a sequel to Rocky. However, it seems that he won’t be featured in the movies anymore.

The third part of Creed is set to release in 2023 and it will be the directional debut of Michael B. Jordan who will also play the lead role in the film. Moreover, the fans got to see a closer look into the film as the first behind-the-scenes footage for the movie was released.

The video revealed that the movie will be available on I-Max with the BTS recorded in that format. Moreover, we also got an insight into how Jordan will progress with the story of Adonis Creed as he detailed what he has planned for the future.

In Creed 3, I wanted to know what Adonis’ limits were. So, to be able to finally step behind the camera and continue to elevate and evolve this story, it’s something I’m eternally grateful for,” he said.

However, the fans were a little skeptical of what the movie will offer as they weren’t too invested in it without Stallone’s presence. In addition, they made their opinions known as they reacted to this behind-the-scenes footage.

One fan stated that he would skip the movie as there was no point in watching without ‘Sly’ in it. “I’ll skip this one. Without Sly, who cares?” he wrote.

Another fan claimed that he was sad that Stallone didn’t go with the script. Moreover, this made him a little skeptical of the movie. “Sad that Sly didn’t sign off on this. Makes me a bit skeptical but I’ll still go see it,” he wrote.

Moreover, for one fan Stallone not being involved with the movie was something very unusual. “With Sly alive and not writing this, it just doesn’t feel right,” he wrote.

Lastly, one fan wished that Stallone was in the film to guide Jordan. “Unfortunately rock isn’t on the movie, but it looks great can’t wait,” he wrote.

While ‘Sly’ will always be synonymous with the Rocky franchise, Jordan plans to take the movies in a new direction focusing on his character. However, it might take some time for the fans to get used to the fact that Stallone won’t be in a ‘Rocky’ movie.
