Mike Tyson knows a thing or two about marriage. The former heavyweight champion has been married 3 times during his lifetime which has given him great insight into marriages and relationships.

However, even Tyson wasn’t fully prepared for his daughter to get married. In the episode of his podcast, Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson, the legendary boxer opened up about his daughter’s marriage and revealed his experience after she finally tied the knot.

My daughter just got married, had a wedding. It was wild seeing that, yeah she just married. It just f*cked my head up,” said Tyson.

Tyson then went on to praise his son-in-law and emphasized that as long as his daughter was happy, he was too. Tyson iterated, “He’s a really nice guy. I think he’s a nice guy you know as long as she loves him we love him.”

Shmurda then told Tyson that he also had goddaughters and was very protective of them. However, Tyson stated that children should be given some space and be trusted. “They become your enemy, you just have to trust them and give them the right tools before they go out there,” he said.

He also added that pressuring them too much would break their will due to the already stressful environment of life. “When you pressure too much you break their spirit, you have to pull back a little as well. This is life we’re dealing with people getting stressed people everyone has to live life on life’s terms,” Tyson concluded.

Iron Mike has seemingly figured out a job harder than boxing which is being a parent. With all these years of experience, he has turned into a great father and role model for his children.

Mike Tyson and his current beef with Hulu

A few months back Iron Mike called out the streaming service, Hulu, for allegedly stealing his life rights for his mini-series biopic, ‘Mike’. Tyson was livid at the streaming service for not paying him his share to use his life story. He has gone on multiple shows and interviews demanding the boycott of the show.

However, the show’s producers have claimed that they have paid all the necessary legal dues and are not obligated to pay Tyson. Moreover, one producer claimed that they have taken multiple accounts for the story and not based it solely on Tyson’s perspective.
