The former YouTube employee and now the famous YouTuber Alex Costa revealed what changes the social media personality Logan Paul underwent following the Japan controversy that happened a few years back.

While discussing Paul’s hair transformation in his recent video clip, the YouTuber claimed ‘The Maverick’ certainly improved a lot since that controversial Japan incident that shook him from the inside.

“You know, after the infamous so sorry video about the Japanese Forest craziness which by the way I was working at YouTube when this happened, and let’s just say it was a crazy day in the office so after that he kind of went away for a few weeks and came back with a new hairstyle shorter, more mature”, Costa said.

Before this, he introduced Paul’s first hairstyle, which appears in his old videos. According to Costa, it was long, messy, and pretty bad. Interestingly, it was intentional to capture fans’ attention. But as of now, Paul is totally transformed, man. The 27-year-old is rocking with his bushy beard and a pretty wavy fringe.

Logan Paul and the Japan Controversy?

This entire controversy began with Paul’s infamous Japan blog. Back in 2018, the social media star made an adventures expedition to Japan’s Aokigahara forest, also known as the “suicide forest” with his friends. While wandering in the forest, he accidentally came across a body.

He filmed it on his camera and said he had never seen a dead person. Following this remark, he laughed nervously. After completing his vlog, he posted it on his channel. Controversy began when people saw the clip and noticed Paul’s reaction.

Though he deleted it later, he could not change people’s take on it.

Following the criticism, Paul filmed an apology video and titled it ‘So Sorry’.

In the video, he said, “I’ve made a severe and continuous lapse in my judgement, and I don’t expect to be forgiven, I’m simply here to apologize…..”

Later, in the video, he narrated the entire incident. According to him, it was unplanned, and the reactions captured in the camera were raw.

This had a very profound impact on Paul. He was really hurt by his act and felt remorse.
