After a lot of uncertainty, the charismatic battle between Anthony Joshua vs Tyson Fury is finally official. The British duo have signed on the dotted line to face each other for the undisputed heavyweight title. Not once, but both Joshua and Fury will battle each other twice and settle on one true king of the big men’s division.
Although the fight between the pair is official, there are no tentative dates and locations finalized for this clash yet. Recently, the heavyweight contender, Michael Hunter, gave a shocking take on the same.
Speaking to SecondsOut, he said, “I think that you know it’s all publicity stunt, its propaganda. And I think that they need the people involved, just like they always do, you know. The people want it then the fight happens regardless so they already have all the other necessary ingredients to make it so. I think that this fight is done on the people’s note.”

The discussions for this fight went on floors after ‘AJ’ scored an enthralling win over Kubrat Pulev in December 2020.
On the other side, Tyson Fury was waiting for this bout ever since he won against Deontay Wilder a year ago. More than anyone else, both Fury and Joshua were ecstatic to take each other on. Both of them are in their prime and this might just turn out to be the perfect setting for them to touch gloves with each other.
In his above statement, Michael Hunter asserted that this is the fight people want right now. But he believes their promotions have purposely not revealed the fight dates and location as they wish to keep the fans involved.
