The blockbuster exhibition clash between Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul is once again in jeopardy and may witness another change in its date and venue. After failing to stage the fight on February 20, the administrators went silent on the matchup.

However, Mayweather assured fans he would fight on June 5 at a Showtime PPV, citing the USA to host the event. Meanwhile, the dramatic build-up has seen some added drama, as the Showtime Kingpin claimed that June 5th was never the date.

“It’s definitely not June 5th. It never has been. There are a few dates being…that we are sort of circling and a few venues…,” said Stephen Espinoza (H/T- Jed I. Goodman)

Adding to that, Mayweather might not want to return to an empty arena. Arguably the best boxer of the era, Floyd Mayweather has always fought in jam-packed stadiums. Hence, a delay in date might allow him to look into the ongoing situations and return to action before a capacity crowd.
