Former four-division champion Adrien Broner was touted to be the next Floyd Mayweather Jr. if his career went as most people would have planned. However, his personal issues off the ring would lead to his eventual downfall from glory. ‘The Problem’ has not competed in the ring for over two years and despite hinting at a return this year, he is yet to confirm an opponent. Although this might change now since he has signed a deal with legendary promoter Don King.

However, despite his flaws, he is still one of the most popular boxers in the world and has a large fan following. In addition, he is also quite close with people from the mainstream celebrity culture and music industry. This might be the reason he mourned the loss of legendary record label owner, Claybourne Evans Jr. who recently passed away.
