The unified champion spoke to DAZN and said, “Definitely it does. [excite him] I feel good, I feel the longer they leave it, the harder it is for them because I’m improving. I’m still an improvement fighter, I’m getting stronger, I’m getting smarter, which is a blessing.”

Why is Anthony Joshua happy with the announcement?

The former Olympic gold medalist made no secret of his confidence about the fight. Despite this, many experts have said this will be AJ’s hardest fight. So why is Joshua pleased to get the deal over the line?

The negotiations were long and drawn out for months. ‘AJ’ was the one who called out Fury after his victory over Kubrat Pulev. And after talks started positively, there was a delay in the announcement. Therefore, this caused impatience among fans.
