Canelo had plans to move up to the cruiserweight roster, but later on, it looked out of cards.

As a result, everyone expected him to stay at 168-pounds and defend his belts. Also, Dmitry Bivol looked like one top contender to confront him. Since Charlo ended up in some trouble, Canelo’s fight with Bivol at light heavyweight seems viable.
