YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul is currently set to finally face his longtime nemesis, Tommy Fury. This, in fact, has also piqued the interest of the countless boxing aficionados who wished to see Paul fight the youngest member of the Fury clan. Boxing aside, Paul has also been vocal about the well-being of MMA fighters. Meanwhile, UFC, which is arguably the biggest MMA promotion right now, and its president, Dana White have found themselves in the midst of controversy. And, Paul took the time to share his thoughts on the incident revolving around White.

Paul is currently scheduled to fight Fury at Diriyah Arena in Riyadh on February 26, 2023. Ahead of this monumental clash, Paul sat down for an exclusive interview with The Sun. He opened up about his opponent and his upcoming fight. Moreover, he spoke about his love for the people of Saudi Arabia. And also mentioned the fight is a tribute to his fans.

Jake Paul gives his take on Dana White

During the interview, the interviewer addressed Paul’s statements about better pay and healthcare for MMA fighters. In the same vein, he also brought about the issue of White’s altercation with his wife. And asked Paul if he wished to share his thoughts about it. Notably, Paul and White had an ongoing feud in 2022. Paul responded by initially addressing his feud with White. He mentioned that his feud with White was not very serious. And also mentioned that it only drew a lot of media hype.

Moreover, he further continued, “My main thing is getting the fighters paid more. And raising the fighter’s minimum to 50,000 dollars. When it’s at 12,000 dollars. Getting them health insurance, and long-term healthcare. That’s what it’s mainly about. I know he had his whole situation. But I don’t need to kick people when they’re down, you know.”

Paul added, “What he did speaks for itself. And I’ve always said, I don’t think he’s a good person.” He also mentioned that White treats his fighters in a similar manner.
