The pair will compete for the WBA (Super) title, IBF, WBO, and IBO heavyweight championship titles. Oleksandr Usyk is the former undisputed cruiserweight champion and the WBO’s mandatory heavyweight challenger. Joshua is prepared to go the distance with the Ukrainian, who is known for his footwork and agility. Usyk will use this to his advantage and dance in and out of Joshua’s range.

“I’m fighting a guy who’s a twelve-round fighter. So it’d be silly of me to go in there bulky, with my muscles screaming for oxygen. I’ve been training like a 15-round fighter in this camp. I’ll be well-conditioned to fight so that’s key and what happens when I train that way is my body just adapts and takes its natural form,” Joshua said.
