Jake Paul, in his early days in boxing, has become a cosmic center of attention. A few months back, he even entered a scathing brawl with boxing icon Floyd Mayweather. Ever since then, he has solidified his position in the hardcore boxing fans’ minds, too.

Recently, ‘The Problem Child’, in an exclusive chat with The Colin Cowherd Podcast, spoke about his arch-rival, Floyd Mayweather, his influence in boxing, and more.

Jake Paul said, “I agree on certain levels you know, he has brought this like weird flashy sort of materialistic. You know, everything’s about money and strippers and he’s brought that to the sport, and that was all it knew, all the sport knew for many, many years. And I don’t think that’s really what the sport is about at the end of the day.”

“I think we need to bring the sport back to like the epitomy of Rocky.”

Jake Paul has always remained blunt with his opinions. In all of his interviews and podcasts, he has given his honest take on boxing. Also, ever since he and Mayweather went all out against each other at an event, ‘The Problem Child’ has turned even more aggressive with his choice of words on ‘TBE’.

Moving ahead, the 24-year-old is eager to get more eyeballs to the sport of boxing to restore its spot at the top. He also wants to open the way for underdogs and hardworking pugilists who are trying to work their way up.
