Despite falling short before Ben Askren’s professional fighting resume, Jake Paul seems optimistic about winning their cruiserweight collision on April 17 at the Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Moreover, he has revealed the game plan that would help him secure the win.

While many people, including UFC chief Dana White, believe Askren’s fight experience and cardio will help him set up the win, Jake Paul doesn’t seem worried about it. He claims to have found an answer for Askren’s tactics and is aiming to “bust” him up this Saturday.

‘The Problem Child’ connected with MMA Junkie and addressed his nearing main-event clash.

“I don’t think Ben (Askren) will be able to get near me. My distance control is ten times better than his and if he does, he is going to get busted up on the inside. You know that’s one thing we really worked on in this camp is my inside fighting game. So, he can come in. But he is going to get cracked. And if he wants to hold me, he is just going to be losing by points,” said Jake Paul.

He also claimed that he had trained with world champion boxers and fighters for the particular camp. Starting from Andrew Tabiti to Shane Mosley and Jorge Masvidal, Paul has been through proper sessions and as people continue to tout Askren’s abilities, Jake Paul believes he has got the answer.

Speaking on his game plan, he continued, “Because I am going to be everywhere, all over him like a bumblebee. And he is not going to know where he is going to get hit from. Then he is just going to grab hold on to me. Cool, you want to hold, on to me. I am winning by points.”

Ben Askren has also appeared confident about making a successful boxing debut. As he revealed a few glimpses of his boxing drills, fans might have given him a chance against Paul inside the ring. However, the veteran martial artist isn’t a reputed striker and has won most of his fights with wrestling abilities.

So, Paul’s recent statements may prove to be a terrifying spoiler of his third professional bout. While both men continue to advertise their plans and confidence, only the eight-rounds main-event clash will determine the better pugilist between the two.
