YouTuber turned professional boxer Jake Paul sends Christmas wishes to the former boxing champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. in a curious manner. This morning, with an Instagram story post, Paul posted a picture of a coffee mug with the famous slogan ‘Gotcha Hat’ on it and he tagged Floyd Mayweather. Does he want to remind Mayweather about the infamous incident between him and Mayweather? On that note, this incident was before the fight with his brother.

2022 is coming to an end, and tomorrow the whole world will be celebrating Christmas. At that moment, such a post from Jake Paul is to be taken note of. Does that mean something is going to be very big in the future? Or is it just another publicity stunt from Jake Paul?

Jake Paul’s ‘Gotcha Hat’ moment with Floyd Mayweather

From the initial days, Jake Paul was always controversy king and loved to be at the center of attraction, which may be the reason for him being so popular. In April 2021, Paul’s brother, Logan Paul, appeared in the ring with Mayweather for an exhibition fight. In that fight, neither of the parties won the match, and the fight took to the full 8 rounds. But the real fight surged before the match when Jake Paul went too far.

All of a sudden, Paul took the cap off Mayweather’s head and said, “Gotcha Hat”. Not just once, but he repeated several times. It was too offensive for a boxer like Mayweather.

Jake Paul reminding Floyd Mayweather of the event 

With today’s post, Paul wants to remind Mayweather about that act. Surely he does. The “Gotcha Hat” was a very special moment for Jake Paul and in an interview, he told that he wanted to make that moment funnier and not insult anyone.
