Jake Paul Claims Ben Askren Will Forfeit His Entire Fight Purse if This Happens

On April 17, Jake Paul will finally get his hands on long-time rival Ben Askren. The pair will fight each other in a professional boxing bout of eight rounds. Both the fighters exhibit a captivating persona and this fight is much-anticipated for obvious reasons.

Ahead of the fight, ‘The Problem Child’ Jake Paul was in an interview with MMA Junkie. Here, he shed some light on his Saturday night fight with the former UFC star, Ben Askren.

“I don’t think the fight will last long enough for him (Askren) to even think about taking me down. Second, being if he does something like that, his purse is eliminated in the bout agreement. So if he wants to lose all the money for the fight, then sure go ahead,” said Paul.

Ever since this fight has gotten announced, Paul has immersed himself in hardcore boxing training regimes. ‘The Problem Child’ has only fought twice until now, and both of those bouts have been against non-fighters.

On Saturday, it will be the first time he will touch gloves with a professional from the fight world. That said, ‘The Problem Child’ is prepared for an absolute war and isn’t really bothered about Askren‘s wrestling abilities.
