The 3-0 boxer spoke to Chael Sonnen on his YouTube channel and said, “Me and my team are just figuring out what makes the most sense and, I fought three times in the past, like, 15-16 months. So I’ve been pretty active, and it’s taken like a toll on me. I’ve just felt tired after the fight. Like even the night after, I was like, ‘this is such a relief, I won.’”

This comment showed that the YouTuber would not rush into his next fight. He then confirmed, “I was just sitting there, and I didn’t even want to, like, stand up. This has been the craziest 16 months of my life, I need a little bit of a break.”

Would it be a good idea for Jake Paul to take a break?

The comments from Paul showed that the internet sensation is serious about taking time off from the sport. While this will draw more criticism from fans, it may not be the best decision for the unbeaten superstar to take a break.

‘The Problem Child’ has gained global attention thanks to his antics in and out of the ring. As it stands, the YouTuber has many options for his next fight. However, if he takes a break, his potential opponents could look elsewhere.

Tommy Fury has been the most linked fighter to face Paul. However, he has claimed he will not wait for Paul and will get on with his career. Therefore, if ‘The Problem Child’ takes a hiatus, he may have to settle for another questionable opponent, which will draw more hate from fans.

What do you make of these comments from Jake Paul? Do you think a break would be the right decision?
