Speaking to TMZ, Jake said, “My brother’s f***ed, It’s bad for the sport. I think it’s just for clout.” However, he didn’t stop there and managed to get in a dig at his older brother.

You know, my brother’s a fake fighter, I’m the real fighter. He’s 0-1-1, I’m 3-0,” said Paul.

Hard-core boxing fans did not agree with Jake Paul’s involvement in the sport either. Many feel that the concept of YouTubers entering the ring after a few months’ training is an insult to the sport. Even fighters joined in with the criticism, with Canelo Alvarez voicing his opinion on the matter.

However, everyone knew that Mayweather had nothing to lose and everything to gain. Hence the fight made sense for the super-star boxer.

Jake Paul wishes Logan Paul the best of luck

‘The Problem Child then wished his brother good luck for the fight, but also explained why he should never have taken it. He said, “I wish him the best of luck. I just like – don’t get in there with a guy whos’ never even been knocked out. He’s been knocked down once, and it was by accident.”

This could also explain why Jake Paul went after MMA stars rather than calling out famous boxers. The internet sensation has been very vocal about calling out the likes of Conor McGregor and others. He claims he wants the UFC stars to prove themselves in the ring. Clearly Paul feels that fighting opponents who have never boxed before is a more feasible prospect. What do you make of this, is it just extra drama to promote the fight?
