Jake Paul and Tommy Fury had some unfinished business from their first battle, which was set for last year. Fury withdrew at the time owing to an injury. Then they made the decision to fight on August 6th at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. However, Fury again withdrew from the bout, claiming that he was having visa problems. But as of right now, the discussion for a potential fight between the two is on the table again. And it seems that the contract will be inked within the coming week.

Tommy Fury’s father John Fury recently revealed that he had a conversation with Jake Paul’s manager about the long-delayed clash between his son and Paul. And the two verbally agreed to make the fight happen in February 2023.

Following that, Jake Paul took to Twitter and wrote, “Dear @FrankWarren , I agree to fight Tommy in Manchester or London in Feb. I’ll come to his country, no more running. His baby is due then & you’ve said it’s no issue. Since John is adamant we’ve agreed, I am giving u 7 days to present a signed contract by Tommy or I’m moving on.”

Even British promoter Frank Warren agreed to make this fight happen and stated, ”I think we’ve got a good chance of getting it on over in the UK now. Probably sometime in late February/March… Jake is up for coming over here, so we’ve just got to get the deal finalized in the next week or so.”

It has been a while since Fury and Paul have been at crossroads. They never leave a chance to troll or berate one another online. But now they are a step closer to finally settling scores inside the ring.
