Jake Paul Gives One Word Verdict on Taylor vs. Serrano, and Fans Aren’t Having It

Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano go to the distance. Inside a sold-out Madison Square Garden, the two pen history. Taylor and Serrano both went at it full-fledged with nothing holding themselves back. Throughout the fight, the duo exchanged relentlessly. As a result, Amanda Serrano got a cut while Katie Taylor was left with a bleeding nose.

Tired and exhausted from the battle, both women slow down. Blood skims down the cut of Amanda Serrano. However, Taylor does not stop. Although worn out, she pours in on Serrano each time she gets her within the range. Finally, the bout ends, both women breathing heavily and the entire arena up on their feet.

Katie Taylor won the fight via a split decision. Following the end of the match and the announcement of the winner, Jake Paul, who promoted Serrano, took it to Twitter and shared his opinion on the result.

Jake Paul and his Most Valuable Promotions promoted Amanda ‘The Real Deal’ Serrano. On the other hand, Eddie Hearn and his Matchroom Boxing stood on the ground representing Katie Taylor.

Paul had high hopes for the match and expected Serrano to win. Unfortunately, things did not go his way and Serrano lost. After the match, here’s how Paul reacted on Twitter about Serrano’s defeat and Taylor’s win.

@DeclanMCG123 wrote, “The round Katie Taylor was rocked in was so clearly a 10-8 round 6-4 Serrano win how can a judge have it 97-93 to Taylor makes zero sense.”

Someone by the ID @dr_octagon replied to Paul with a short clip of Dana White laughing.

On the other side, someone also shared the same reaction and wrote, “97-93 is a joke. A draw at best. Taylor was about to fall twice. robbed.

But then again, there was this someone who imposed a strong claim on Paul himself and wrote, “You clearly don’t understand how they judge and score fights.”
