Paul was watching the match live on television. However, towards the end of the match, he took to Twitter to make the announcement.
He commends Bivol’s performance while issuing a challenge to Alvarez. Saying, “And just like that, Canelo Alvarez loses to Dmitry Bivol. An amazing fight by Bivol. I’m 2 inches bigger than Bivol, 20 pounds heavier. Give me three years, I take out Canelo the same way.”

Moreover, Paul further makes use of the opportunity to call out Alvarez and his promoter, Matchroom Boxing chairman, Eddie Hearn. He said, “Eddie Hearn, f*** you, you can suck my d***. I’m coming, I’m beating Canelo in three f****** years. I put that on my mama. “
Paul ends by congratulating Bivol for his victory, and mentioning that Bivol has proven that it’s easier for a bigger fighter to beat Alvarez. He also asks young boxers to believe in themselves and not listen to ‘s***bags’ like Eddie Hearn.

Meanwhile, Jake Paul hilariously responded to his tweet calling himself the ‘A-side’. In boxing terms, this makes Alvarez the underdog in the potential matchup.
