Jake Paul has always dared to compare himself with the top-level combatants, while he is still at the earliest stage of his career. He believes to have introduced a fresh wave in the sport, which many of the legends in the by-gone era had done. Boasting off his social media fame and the will to become a world champion, Paul has even compared himself with the likes of Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson.
Interestingly, Paul shares his birthday of January 17 with Muhammad Ali and Tyson’s late-trainer Cus D’Amato. 24-year-old Paul said, Tyson was allured after coming across the fact and cited how Jake Paul is destined for greatness.
In a chat with Logan Paul on the Impaulsive podcast, ‘The Problem Child’ addressed his conversation with Mike Tyson and imitated how ‘The Baddest Man On The Planet’ predicted a bright future for Paul.

Jake Paul said, “When I sat with Mike Tyson on his podcast, bro he is so smart and wise and he was sitting next to me for like 20 mins just preaching knowledge. And he goes bro, you are the G.O.A.T. January 17 people are not be messed with.”
“Like when I told him my birthday, he was like Oh my god. He [Tyson] like freaked out. He literally freaked out and said, I see it now.”

Jake Paul and Mike Tyson came across each other in November 2020 in a Triller event, where Tyson headlined against Roy Jones Jr. in an exhibition and Jake Paul fought former NBA star Nate Robinson in the undercard. Following the event, Paul embraced new heights of success as a boxer and went on a tear in the ride.

Is Jake Paul worthy enough of Mike Tyson’s appraisals?
Paul has garnered sheer criticism in his surging boxing career so far. But he didn’t let it affect his growth. Following his win over Nate Robinson, Jake Paul fought two MMA champions in a row and vanquished both of them. He knocked out Ben Askren in April, claimed a split decision to win against Woodley in August, and re-matched ‘T-Wood’ in December to secure a sensational KO victory.
