Love him or hate him, Jake Paul has undoubtedly done pretty uncanny yet successful stints on his active journey in the combat sphere. After amassing self-success as a 5-0 pugilist, Paul is seemingly trying to work for other fighters, both in boxing and MMA.

He hasn’t shied away from beefing with the prizefighters or top-tier names in the community. Besides, Paul has also stood firmly for the underdogs or fighters who don’t receive adequate financial gainings. Adding to that list, Paul has worked for the development of female fighting. He is on the brink of hosting a super fight between Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor in April.

The work doesn’t stop there. Jake Paul appears to be serious about improving the existing combat scene and is apparently planning to form a union of fighters. According to reports, Paul connected with Ariel Helwani and detailed his plans for forming the fighters’ union. It will have members of both- the MMA and the boxing community. He clarified having a team of lawyers alongside and is already in the early stages of works.

In recent years, several MMA fighters have protested regarding the financial structure. While boxers are blessed with million-dollar paydays, MMA fighters hardly witness that unless they are massive superstars like Conor McGregor. Starting from Jorge Masvidal, Jon Jones to Paulo Costa and now Francis Ngannou, several A-listers have backfired at UFC and have demanded bigger paychecks over the years.

It now appears to be a serious problem in the existing MMA scenario. No wonder Jake Paul has clearly taken a dig at it. He has ridiculed UFC President, Dana White, for not paying the fighters adequately, and now seems to work to eradicate the problem.

Can Jake Paul really help the MMA fighting community?

To be precise, Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley earned more from their fights against Jake Paul than what they had earned with the UFC. It’s clear, boxing can fetch more money to the fighters unless MMA follows a similar blueprint of hosting the shows. That said, seven-division boxing champion, Amanda Serrano, has also become a millionaire after joining the forces with Jake Paul.

Amidst all these, Paul has teased a potential move to the MMA universe. Meanwhile, he has claimed to retire from boxing after amassing a 10-0 record.
