It was recently reported that YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul, has a new lady love in his life. Paul started dating Dutch speed skater and Olympic medalist, Jutta Leerdam after he confirmed his breakup with Julia Rose in early 2023. However, their relationship drew a lot of contrasting and borderline rude, statements from fans. Most of the comments stemmed from the Dutch people’s dissent of a celebrated athlete like Leerdam dating ‘The Problem Child’. Paul, on the other hand, took to social media to address the haters.

Paul and Leerdam filmed an intro from inside their car for the latest episode of BS w/ Jake Paul. Moreover, the episode which was aptly titled, Meet My Superstar Girlfriend Jutta Leerdam, saw the couple officially announce their relationship.

In conversation, Paul also addressed the hateful comments from fans. He said, “To all my fellow Netherlands people out there. Please stop hating on her for dating me.” Leerdam also added that the fans would change their opinions if they knew Paul as a person. Paul further added, “That’s why the tattoo on the back of my neck says, ‘I wish I could explain’. But, they won’t listen.”

Speculations about the duo dating started doing rounds after they were spotted having an intimate dinner after Paul’s split from Rose. Leerdam competed at the World Championships in Helsinki in 2017. And, in turn, became the Junior World speed skater champion. She later went on to win the silver medal at the 2022 Olympics.

It is worth mentioning that Leerdam was initially skeptical about dating Paul. In the very same episode, Leerdam opened up about her thoughts after meeting Paul.

She said, “When we started following each other, people were like; ‘Are you guys dating?’ It was like a whole thing. And then my answer was like NEVER! Never. But then I found out you are such a sweetheart.”

Paul also wasted no time in sharing his thoughts. He said, “And I found out you are the sweetest soul. I wanna talk about her. Because people don’t realize like how amazing she is as a human being.”
